AI assistants

ozen can hand your meetings to an AI assistant, Claude Code or Hermes, which reads the transcript and answers your questions. You need one of them installed first.

Ask about the meeting happening now

Press Ask AI in the panel. A Terminal window opens with the assistant, already holding the meeting so far. It keeps up as the meeting continues and can look at your screen. Try:

• “Summarize the last five minutes.”
• “What did Dana ask me to do?”
• “What’s on my screen, and does it match what they’re describing?”
• “Draft a follow-up email with the decisions we made.”

Past meetings

1. Switch the panel to Meetings.
2. Select one or several (hold ⌘ or ⇧ while clicking).
3. Press Open and pick the assistant.

Great for “What did we promise the client across these three calls?” or “Write the weekly update.”

Each opened set is saved as a folder; double-click its claude.command or hermes.command file to come back to it later.

Auto add with Kev finds other meetings about the same project and adds them for you. It needs the Kev helper running on your Mac; without it, this option does nothing.

What the AI sees

A cloud assistant like Claude sends what it reads to its provider. Only the meetings you choose are shared. See Privacy.

Other AI apps

Any AI app that supports MCP (a common way for AI apps to use tools) can read and edit ozen’s meetings, people and settings. Setup is in MCP server.
