The menu bar panel
ozen lives in the menu bar as an ear. Click it to open the panel. Right-click it for a quick menu with the same controls.
Try it: click a speaker name to say who it is, or click the text to fix a word.
What the ear means
Section titled “What the ear means”When ozen isn’t recording, the panel says Not recording and why.
Buttons

| Start | Start listening to the call and the room. |
| Pause / Resume | Take a break. Resuming is instant. |
| Stop | Stop listening. ozen finishes writing down what it already heard first. |
| Always / Meetings | Choose when ozen records. See When ozen records. |

| Review | Answer who said the lines ozen is unsure about. See Review. |
| Ask AI | Ask an AI assistant about the meeting happening now. See AI assistants. |
Three views
Section titled “Three views”The live transcript, updated every 2 seconds.
- Click a name to say who really said that line, or to ignore that voice.
- Click the text to fix it.
- An orange ? means ozen isn’t sure who spoke.
- Grey lines are voices you chose to ignore.
One row per person with their total talk time, and a bar for everything they said. When people talk over each other, their bars overlap.
- − and + zoom in and out.
- Long silences (over 2 minutes) shrink to a small gap.
- Hover a bar to read it; click it to jump to that line.
All your past meetings, newest first. A silence of 10 minutes or more starts a new meeting.
Select one or several (hold ⌘ or ⇧ while clicking) and press Open to hand them to an AI assistant. See AI assistants.
The bottom of the panel shows how accurately ozen recognizes voices, now and when you started.
